We are looking for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our dedicated 9 vet and 13 nurse small animal clinical team at our RCVS Accredited Hospital, located in central Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Our Veterinary Hospital and its predecessors have been serving the pet owners of Aylesbury and the surrounding area for over 100 years and it was the first hospital to gain RCVS accreditation, this has recently been renewed.
The Hospital was purpose built in 2009 and provides a modern fully equipped facility with three operating theatres, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and a superb in-house laboratory staffed by qualified lab technicians. The Practice undertakes its own orthopaedic surgery including TPLO Operations. The practice is very friendly and supportive, providing an excellent environment to develop your general veterinary and surgical skills. We are also a registered VN Training Practice. Our Hospital’s primary focus is the care of in patients undergoing surgical or investigative procedures, and is supported by our four local branch surgeries situated around Aylesbury and a nearby village. From these, pets are referred to the Hospital for inpatient procedures. To provide the best continuity of care, vets are assigned to each branch surgery and follow their cases through to the Hospital for inpatient care. To ensure we provide the best local care possible to our clients and their pets, we continue to provide our own Out of Hours service from our Hospital. We are very proud that in our last customer survey 98% of clients said they would recommend us to family and friends. Aylesbury is situated on the edge of the Chilterns with excellent road and rail access to both city and rural pursuits.
