Companion animal soft tissue and orthopaedics referral specialist wanted or someone with a desire to further develop in this field


We are currently looking for an extra surgeon to expand our surgical team in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Our ideal candidate will be either residency-trained for ECVIM-CA/ACVIM/RCVS Diplomat or certificated Advanced Practitioner Status. We would be happy to consider applicants who wish to pursue roles in solely soft tissue or orthopaedics or candidates who would like to do both.

Our multidisciplinary team consists of clinicians in internal medicine, oncology orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology and with well-respected diplomats in soft tissue surgery, dermatology and cardiology. The position will be supported by a team of interns and experienced referral nurses.

We have a 64-slice CT, MRI, dedicated pet rehabilitation/physiotherapy/hydrotherapy centre alongside an advanced level of diagnostic facilities and equipment onsite. Our hospital is based in the beautiful Cotswolds, 20 minutes North of Bristol and within easy access to London, Wales and the South West of England.

We can accommodate either a full time surgeon on a 4 day week or a part time surgeon. Study leave will be available for Board eligible candidates. The position offers great work-life fexibility and a chance to develop an already well-established soft tissue and orthopaedic caseload with the support of a dynamic established team.
