Small animal independent practice looking for a new surgeon to join.

Enthusiastic vet required for friendly SA practice in Bournemouth. We are committed to our long-term independence.

We are a well equipped practice with a supportive and caring team. Our vets enjoy no OOH, generous salaries and fully supported CPD plans.

We encourage our vets to pursue their chosen areas of special interest which means more work is done in-house and referrals are rare. In addition we extremely fortunate to have the assistance of a fabulous vet who works part time in our practice. He brings a vast wealth of expertise in imaging,
cardiology and internal medicine to our practice. He handles our more demanding medical cases and all vets regularly have the opportunity to work alongside him, working up their own cases. This is a valuable internal contribution to your CPD.

The owner of the practice is a very experienced surgeon. We have a varied theatre caseload. For example in the last 6 months alone we have performed four thoracotomies including two pericardectomies, three liverlobectomies and numerous TTAs etc.

Our Bournemouth site is well equipped with large operating theatres, ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory, full array of video endoscopes, extensive orthopaedic kit, dental x-ray and vascular sealer.

We would welcome full or part time applicants. Accommodation is available.

If you like the idea of an independent practice with a varied and very interesting caseload that genuinely cares for its clients regardless of wealth, please email your application to
