EXPERIENCED VET SURGEON VACANCY – STEVENAGE, HERTS

We are a two-centre practice in Stevenage, Hertfordshire; serving Stevenage and the surrounding villages.The Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital in Great Ashby provides an extensive range of diagnostic facilities, surgical procedures and in-patient services. The surgery provides both consulting and surgical facilities in support of the main hospital branch. We aim to provide our staff with a friendly, relaxed and open working environment, where we are all safe and fulfilled.

We have opportunities for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with proven experience to join us.  We are well-equipped with a wide range of facilities such as digital x-ray, ultrasound facilities, bronchoscopy/endoscopy, an in-house lab and ECG.

If you are looking for a friendly veterinary hospital with branch surgery with a great team of nurses who will support you in your role this could be for you.

You will be working 4 days per week with 1 day off in the week. There will be a fair share of week day on call (1 in 12) and full weekends (1 in 9). You will be working with a friendly and supportive team. You will be required to work between our two sites.

What you need to succeed: your previous experience in a similar role will be key to your success.  You will have a strong track record in the delivery of exceptional client service with strong branch development skills.
