The position is based on a 40hr week although we’d be delighted to discuss shorter or part time hours for the right candidate. Shift patterns can be discussed but we’ll always include one weekday off, a shared 1 in 3 Saturdays and no out of hours.

You’ll be working alongside two other full time vets including a soon to be surgical certificate holder, a team of five registered veterinary nurses and five support staff.

We can tailor the role to a new or recent graduate looking for support with their cases and career progression or for a more experienced colleague looking to pursue their own interests. We’re more than happy to discuss salary expectations – our bracket is £33000 – £60000. We’re also happy to discuss a relocation package should we need to provide support for a candidate moving to a new community.

We believe in supporting our colleague’s development with sponsoring CPD and providing access to post graduate certification as well as training the next generation of Veterinary Nurses and providing access to the Advanced Diploma for our current team.

We have excellent transport links with the cities of Leeds and York just a short journey away and road and rail links to London and Edinburgh nearby. There’s beautiful countryside all around with plenty of parks and opportunities for walks nearby.
